Texas Bunco for A Cure
Do you bunco in Texas? Concho Pearls Bunco Club in San Angelo will be launching a site soon and holding a tournament in October 2010 to raise funds for Breast Cancer. Our plan is a 50/50 giveaway, prizes, drawings, vendors, scrabbook corner, and loads of memories to make with your family and friends...all while giving money to the Breast Cancer movement and cause.
Stay tuned for more information and email us at texasbunco@yahoo.com for more information. We are currently seeking marshall volunteers and ideas for submission on some of the things bunco players would like to see at the event for their donation and time. So...bring me some info!

Hi again, all! I hope you're all finding buncospace to be a bit easier to use. Please be sure, especially if you're in Texas, to stop by the Texas group and become our 'friend'. It's in my plans to work with my regional director in my area and hopefully have some regional and state wide tournaments in the future.
As always, if you're not in Texas, really see if you can help Leslie out by thinking about becoming a State director in your area! (or a regional director, with less responsibility) I noticed when talking to Kelly that there are many states without any directors of any kind.
I hope this finds that all of you had a great summer and are ready to hit the holidays running. Happy buncoing!!

Please be sure to join the Texas Bunco Group!! If you're not in there, I can't meet you...as your State Director...and put you in touch with other players in the state and your area. :)
So, come join Texas Bunco Group. There are lots of things in store for us in the future, and I'm hoping to grow Texas up some!

Welcome to my page! I'm new to all this, just as many of you are, but I suppose I'm up for a challenge. Join me. Tell me about you. How do you roll? What do you want from the state director in YOUR state?
Hope you stop in for a comment or two!!

Several bunco clubs around town and the ladies in my bunco group were SO looking forward to attending another Texas tournament this year like the one in San Antonio last year. Are we the only ones crushed by the fact that it was decided only the Vegas tournament would occur this year? The Texas regional director and myself were thinking we may check into holding one in a major city sometime soon, to make up for it. But, how do we go about making it official? Do we get sponsors? Will hotels help make a venue? However Leslie did it w/Prilosec last year, we commend her...because it was MUCH fun with MANY memories...and we know a lot of hard work.
We welcome any thoughts to this post!! Do you have ideas? Do you think your group would travel to a central location and bunco with us? Does anyone have experience gaining major sponsors (like Foldgers and Prilosec) who would be willing to fund and raise funds for such? Let us hear your voice in Texas!!!
