We are working on a date and location, Dallas is the closet major city. I am trying to get the deposit of 1500 to the group we are working with by July 14th. We have a country club that we think will host the tourney for us. Is $25 per person be a good number? Prize? I can try and get donations for that but with the times the way they are I'm not sure what I could get.
What other ideas do you have on this?

With enough notice, I bet I'd like to bring a team or two from West and South Texas! All for a good cause. It's harder to get donations, if you're not non-profit, but Wal-Mart WILL donate gift cards to you. So will Lowes and Home Depot. You have to contact your local stores to see what they require to help you out. Target only helps non-profits who are registered. Does that help any?
